Chapter Two<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Chapter Two is considered by some to be loosely based on author Neil Simon\u2019s own life. It tells the story of George Schneider, a recently widowed writer, as he navigates the complexities of love, loss and new beginnings. When George\u2019s brother, Leo, encourages him to start dating again it leads him on a series of awkward and humorous encounters with the lovely Jennie. Throughout the play George finds himself torn between his lingering grief for his late wife and his desire to move on and find happiness again. With the help of his well-meaning brother and Jennie\u2019s quirky friend Faye, George and Jennie begin to open themselves up to new possibilities, ultimately discovering that love can unexpectedly find its way into one\u2019s life after loss. \u201cChapter Two\u201d explores themes of resilience, healing and the transformative power of love while showcasing Neil Simon\u2019s signature wit and comedic timing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
